Sensor produces a first sequence of input pulses containing movement information. Each input pulse in a sequence is integrated and a corresponding output pulse is generated within a period during which the integrated signal exceeds a second threshold, after exceeding a first threshold, so that the output pulse is delayed with respect to the input pulse. The generated signal is produced by charging a capacitor, the thresholds being defined by the voltage drop across the capacitor. An Independent claim is given for a signal processing circuit.
