<p>The present invention is directed to esters of (+)-α-(2,3-Dimethoxyphenyl)-1-[2-(4-fluorophenyl)ethyl]-4-piperidinemethanol, of formula (I) wherein R is C4-C20alkyl, pharmaceutical formulations, methods of making and methods of using these esters. These compounds antagonize the effects of serotonin at the 5HT2A receptor and are useful in treating various conditions such as, for example, psychoses such as schizophrenia.</p> |
