<p>The invention concerns the genomic sequence and coding regions of a new olfactory receptor gene cluster. The invention also concerns polypeptides encoded by the olfactory receptor genes as well as to methods and kits for detecting these polynucleotides and screening substances interacting with these polypeptides. The invention also deals with antibodies directed specifically against such polypeptides that are useful as diagnostic reagents. The invention further encompasses biallelic markers of the olfactory receptor gene useful in genetic analysis.</p> |
