The invention concerns a tank (1) designed to contain bitumen wherein is mounted a heating pipe (2; 5) substantially in contact by the whole outer lateral surface with the bitumen contained in the tank (1). The pipe (2; 5) comprises at least a U-shaped horizontal section whereof the innermost branch communicates with the inlet (3; 7) of the pipe and the outermost one with the pipe outlet (4; 8).
