FIELD: solid fuels. SUBSTANCE: in a process including addition to peat of organic wastes, stirring of mixture, compacting, and drying, said organic wastes are those from leather production that are preliminarily crushed to particle size 0.1 to 0.5 mm and taken in amounts between 1 and 40% based on the weight of solids, moisture content of peat and waste is 78 to 85%, and drying is conducted until moisture 30-33% is achieved. Product is designed for domestic application. EFFECT: increased strength of lump peat and utilized leather production waste.
