METHOD OF ELECTROEROSING MACHINING OF DIES FOR MANUFACTURE OF SPUR GEARS

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: sequence of interrelated movements of toothed die blank and electrode-tool for formation of internal toothed rim of die is established. During profiling of side involute surfaces of teeth movements of blank and electrode-tool simulate picture of geometrical evolution and convolution of involute. Every repeated cycle of machining is started with initial cutting line which trace in plane of blank end surface is positioned at point A - cross-point of circumference of radius rT@b.B with axis X of machine-tool coordinate system. Trajectory of movement of wire electrode-tool represents broken line consisting of two sections tangent to circumference of tooth projections of die blank.
