<p>A platform used, for example, to implement advanced services in a communications network employing an IN (intelligent network) architecture, is formed from a number of loosely coupled subsystems. Each subsystem includes a resource locator which advertises the subsystem's own resources, and listens to data identifying the resources available in other subsystems. Communication between the subsystems may be mediated by a resource broker which registers data from the different subsystems.</p> |
