The assembly of a hub-shaft clamped joint is facilitated by a tool which is a safety spring clip. The locking screw cannot be inserted fully through the hole until the hub (9) and shaft (10) are correctly pre-positioned, and the spring clip is applied with its spring lever resting on the main body.
