JACKING SCREW

A jacking screw (10) for attaching a first panel to a second panel which provides an axial force in a first direction to jack the first panel to the second panel when the screw is rotated in a first direction and provides an axial force to pry the panels apart when the screw is rotated in an opposite direction. The jacking screw includes a screw (20), a ferrule (40) for attachment to a panel and, a knob (30) attached to the screw head has a downwardly extending cylindrical portion (32) which secures the knob to the ferrule allowing for relative rotation while allowing substantially no axial movement.
