The safety ski binding disclosed in Specification 1,046,005, is modified in that the heel yoke comprises three members 1, 2 and 5, the members 1 and 2 locating the ends 15, 16 of the tension cable in the manner described in the above application, whilst the member 5 moves longitudinally of the ski into and out of engagement with the heel of the skier's boot in response to operation of a clamping lever 9 which is arranged to pass over-centre to secure the binding. The keeper plate is also modified in that it comprises two parts 24 and 28 pivoted together at 12, the part 24 being urged into its cable-engaging position by means of a rubber block 26 located between a bent portion 25 of the part and the member 1. |
