<p>Autoclave dyeing cloth on the roll, contains and rotates roll in closed vessel whilst recirculating dye to center of roll and spraying over it, to penetrate thickness of cloth uniformly. At the end (3) of the vessel opposite the door (4), a tubular dye distribution casing (13) fixed to the wall coaxially with the vessel includes an opening discharging into the casing. The casing is axially traversed by a shaft (18). Its end is sealed in an outer wall (15) and carried in a bearing. A collar system connects through the vessel wall, into the center of the plain spool. The end has a rotary drive with coupling. A bearing arrangement accepts axial thrust. Preferred features: The drive shaft has a coupling (33) at one end connected to the central, axial shaft (32). The far end (34) is threaded, for an arrangement including a clamping plate, the other end being supported against the flange (29). Complementary spherical sections hold ends of the roll. Pipework distributes dye into the central spool and sprays over the roll, inside the vessel. Convergent-divergent nozzles with swirl, create wide spray cones over the cloth.</p> |
