<p>A movable sign, particularly for use as a temporary road sign, comprises front and rear sub-frames 10,12 each having a pair of extruded plastics uprights 20,30 interconnected by respective extruded plastics cross-members (22, figure 7). The upper ends of the uprights 20 of the front sub-frame 10 are hinged to respective uprights 30 of the rear sub-frame 12 intermediate their opposite ends. A plastics display panel 18 is mounted in a frame 16 which is hinged to the upper ends of the uprights 30 of the rear sub-frame 12. The lower edge of the frame 16 releasably engages brackets 50 on the uprights 20 of the front sub-frame 10, when the sign is erected.</p> |
