PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray for packaging a food excellent in recyclability in place of a present plastic tray. SOLUTION: An aluminum tray is formed by machining an aluminum sheet of 0.1-1 mm in thickness. A thermoplastic resin film layer of 3-50μm in thickness is provided at least on a surface in contact with the food, and the surface is preferably curled or corrugated. The recycling ratio of the tray for packaging the food which is distributed on the market can be improved up to that of aluminum cans.
