PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase wear resistance and conduct long-term stable operation while using an HC refrigerant by using a specified mineral oil or synthetic oil as a refrigerator oil and by forming both the sliding portions of an aluminum material and steel, cast iron, or sintered iron, etc. SOLUTION: For the refrigerator oil in the HC refrigerant, either mineral oil or a synthetic oil such as PAG oil, ester oil, or ether oil, is used. The aluminum sliding material is subjected to a surface treatment such as manganese phosphate treatment, or molybdenum disulfide surface treatment, or manganese phosphate treatment and molybdenum disulfide surface treatment. Steel, cast iron, or sintered iron is used as the ferrous material. This ensures that both members have excellent wear resistance. Nitriding or nitrosulphurizing the ferrous material creates a sliding material with excellent wear resistance owing to the white layer and nitride diffusion layer generated at the surface. The anti-stick and wear resistance of the ferrous material are also improved by PVD processing, CVD processing, or plating.
