PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil improvement method using a rotational pile capable of easily controlling compaction torque of sand without vibration or noises. SOLUTION: A pipe pile 2 is set in a specific position to make a sand plug. Forward force fit of the pipe pile to the depth quired for measures against liquefaction is made. A fixed amount of sand is cast. The pipe pile is reversed to pull out, and the casting sand and sand plug A are pushed out. Forward force fit of the pipe pile is made to push the sand to compact. A proper amount of sand is cast into the pipe pile 2, the pipe pile 2 is reversed to pull it up to a proper site, and forward force fit of the pipe pile is made to push the casting sand to the inside of a bored hole section to compact. By repeating this work, a sand pile compacted up to a specific site on the ground surface is formed.
