PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve impact resistance and weight saving of a helmet comprising a plastic or a metal by detachably attaching or fixing a hollow formed material to a helmet main body. SOLUTION: This helmet composed of a plastic or a metal is obtained by attaching or fixing a hollow symmetric pseudo-truncated cone formed material 2, obtained by cutting off a truncated cone-shaped formed material vertically to the bottom with sandwiching the bottom central line of the truncated cone in fixed width and bonding and integrating the residual truncated cone, to the outside of a helmet main body 1 so as to have the external shape of the formed material made along the external shape of the helmet.
