PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion resistant sintered compact small in deterioration in elongation after corrosion and useful as the material for a sensor ring used for the antilock system of an automotive blake and the mating parts in the other mechanism part. SOLUTION: A powdery mixture obtd. by adding and mixing ferritic stainless steel powder having a compsn. contg., by weight, <=0.1% C, <=3.0% Si, <=0.30% Mn, <=2.0% Ni, 11 to 22% Cr, <=3.0% Mo, and the balance substantial Fe with a metallic compd. of B, desirably, in the form of CrB in such a manner that the quantity of B in the powdery mixture is controlled to 0.03 to <0.2% is sintered at 1050 to <1300 deg.C.
