PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make improvements in working efficiency by simplifying a grille guard mounting construction to protect a radiator, a radiator grille or the like to be installed in front of an automobile. SOLUTION: In a front bumper with each side bumper to be connected to both symmetrical ends of a bumper body 6 to be installed in front of a car body, an opening 6p is installed in each top face of symmetrical ends of this bumper-body 6, inserting a leg part 14 of a grille guard 10 into this opening 6p, and a vertical wall member 8 to be connected to both the symmetrical ends in the body width direction of this bumper body 6 is constituted so as to make its positioning in time of installing the leg part 14 of the grille guard 10 be easily holdable, and thus the mounting of the leg part 14 in the bumper body 6 is simplified as specified, thereby making improvements in the working efficiency.
