PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the rear even when a door mirror is folded, to drive a car in safety in a crowded place and on a narrow road by mounting a mirror material on a surface directing backward when the door mirror is folded, on the door mirror of an automobile. SOLUTION: This door mirror is opened and closed fore and aft by fixing the door mirror shafts on the left and right mirror stays 6 vertically projecting from a body of an automobile, and rotating the shafts. An auxiliary mirror 2 formed by a flat mirror material or a convex mirror material is attached to a face directing the rear, of the door mirror. Whereby a dead angle generated when the door mirror is folded in a conventional automobile can be prevented, and a visible range similar to that in the opening of the door mirror can be ensured. In a case of the forwardly foldable door mirror, the auxiliary mirror 2 formed by the flat mirror material or the convex mirror material is similarly attached to a face directing the rear, of the door mirror.
