PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily button a button by increasing a swing quantity and to firmly fixing the button in accordance with the thickness of cloth without damaging the button by means for swing operation. SOLUTION: A swing button is formed from a button main body 1, a leg part 2 and a fitting rivet 3, the button main body 1 is formed from a front plate 4 and a seat plate 5, a step part 7 is provided at a center of the seat plate 5, a recessed part 8 is formed at the lower part, a fitting hole 9 being a little larger than the leg part 2 where the leg part 2 is put through, is provided on the bottom surface of the recessed part 8, a void part 12 is provided between the front plate 4 and the seat plate 5, a flange 15 which is about 1/4 of the thickness of the void part 12 in the size and can be fitted into the recessed part 8 and whose leg part 2 is cylindrical, is provided on the bottom of the recessed part 8, an insertion hole 16 to which the fitting rivet 3 is inserted, is formed, is fitted on the bottom surface and also the diameter of the fitting hole 9 is set so as to make the swing angle of the button main body 1 and the leg part 2 to be about 15 deg.. Thus, the fear of deformation in the front plate 4 owing to pressurization by the flange 15 is eliminated even when the button main body 1 is inclined.
