A stocking suspender which comprises a clip comprising a stud and a buckle welded or glued to a strip which covers both sides of the clip. The base of the stud 8 is glued or welded to one layer of the cover strip 5. The cover strip passes through an aperture 12 in the buckle 4 and is glued or welded to a portion thereof. The support strap 3 passes through the aperture 12 and is glued or welded to a portion of the buckle. The end of the buckle may be bifurcated and the folded end of the strap retained therein by gluing or welding. The buckle and base of the stud may be made of plastics and the strap 3 and cover strip 5 are made of elastic woven material. |
