PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shred food waste of vegetables and fruit or fishes or the like as finely as possible to enable loading a truck with it. SOLUTION: This food waste treating machine is constituted of a hopper 1 into which food waste is fed, a screw conveyor 2 for conveying the food waste, and a cutting device 3 for cutting the food waste. The cutting device 3 is constituted of a rough cutting device 30 for roughly cutting the food waste, a guide cover 40 arranged above the rough cutting device 30, and a shredding device 50 arranged in one side part of the rough cutting device 30 and for shredding the roughly cut food waste more finely. The rough cutting device 30 is fitted with a rough cutting moving edge fitted to a rotating blade part and a fixed edge that can engage with the rough cutting moving edge. A moving edge having plural edge parts and a fixed edge having a lot of small holes are mounted on the shredding device 50 to cut the food waste into granules. |
