PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitness confirmation device for coke oven doors, which allows an accurate and reliable judgement on whether or not the latch is precisely fit in a keeper hook of a coke oven. SOLUTION: In a fitness confirmation device for coke oven doors, a first sensor 2 which measures the distance from the sensor 2 to the upper side of a latch 4 on a door 3, and a second sensor 5 which measures the distance from the sensor 5 to the upper side of a keeping hook 6, are attached to a lifter 7 to measure these distances for detecting the proprieties of the fitting state of the latch 4 against the keeping hook 6 and of the vertical positions of the lifter 7 and the door 3.
