PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out speedingly the job of neatly arranging, stacking, and bundling old newspapers, old magazines, or the like, keep available for use in a store, work area, etc., and improve efficiency, by joining four box members with a joining band and providing an old-paper box in its lower part with a space for the placement of a binding cord in the shape of a thin box, thereby forming the binding cord in the shape of the thin box and permitting the placement of it even in the narrow space. SOLUTION: A binding-cord box 3 in the shape of a thin box is placed onto a joined band 2 and, from above it, the joining hooks 4 of box members 1 are passed through the joining holes 5 of the joining band 2, thereby setting up a used-paper box having a binding cord. The binding cord 6 is pulled out from the pull-out opening 7 of the cord box 3 and passed onto the cord box 3 in the shape of a figure eight. Then, onto it old newspapers or the like are stacked and bundled with the pre-passed binding cord 6, and the binding cord 6 is cut with an attached cutter 8. Further, the binding cord 6 is formed in the shape of the thin box, the pull-out opening 7 is provided for the cord, and the cutter 8 convenient to cut the cord is attached to an arbitrary part, thereby making it possible to place it in a lower or narrow place. Thus, old newspapers or the like in home can be neatly arranged, stacked, and bundled speedingly.
