PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively produce braille of a large quantity on a thick or hard material as an object by forming a shape of each protrusion for constituting a letterpress in contact shape having a flat surface at its top, and setting so that the more an area of the flat surface is decreased, the greater the thickness of the object to be printed is increased. SOLUTION: Grooves 12 molded on an intaglio 11 are formed in a rectangular shape in section. A protrusion 15 of one letterpress 14 is formed in a conical shape (in a triangular shape in section), and a bottom 22 of the groove 12 is formed in a conical state smoothly bent down in section. Since a flat surface shape of a braille is circular, the groove 12 is formed in a cylindrical shape, and the top of the protrusion 15 is also formed in a circular shape. When the grooves 12 and the protrusion 15 are pressed through a resin panel 10, the panel 10 advanced to the groove 12 as being pressed by the top (flat part 35) of the protrusion 15 is sandwiched between the top 35 of the protrusion 15 and the bottom 22 to mark a shape of the end. Further, a base end of the protrusion braille sandwiched between an outer peripheral edge E of the protrusion 15 and an upper end opening edge G of the groove 12 to mark the base end of the braille.
