PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plastic lens of a low cost having excellent appearance, optical performance, mechanical strength, dyeability, processing operability and the like by eliminating bubbles or emulsification of an interior or bubbles of an outer periphery of the lens. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a plastic lens comprising the steps of pouring a liquid-like curable compound in a mold formed by bringing an adhesive tape into contact with peripheries of side faces of two glass molds positioned at a predetermined interval, and polymerization curing the compound; the peripheral of the side face of the molds is wound with the tape twice or more rotations.
