PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter element for a dry cleaner wherein both of a high collecting performance and a long life are satisfied under a uniform pressure loss by neither leaking an adsorbent nor contaminating a filtrate. SOLUTION: In the filter element for a dry cleaner a filter material 1 is fitted outside a cylindrical body having a double wall structure, which has many liquid permeable pores provided with an adsorbent 3 filled therein. Further, in the filter element for dry-cleaning for filtering by allowing a liquid to be filtered to flow toward inside through the cylindrical body from the filter material 1 side, an outflow preventive material 2 for preventing the adsorbent 3 from flowing out is disposed on an upstream side of the dousle wall of the cylindrical body.
