PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drain water generated when foods are cut and meat juice from a prescribed portion on a chopping board by forming a series of draining grooves along the rear end edge and both left and right side edges on the surface of a bed plate body and opening both the end parts f these draining grooves so that draining may be performed to the front end edge side of the surface of the bed plate body. SOLUTION: A chopping board 1 has a chopping board body (bed plate body) 2 which is synthetic resin and is formed into a rectangular plate shape. On the surface of the chopping board body 2, a series of draining grooves 3 of circular arc shapes in cross section which extends in a substantial U-shape in plane view along a rear end edge (b) and both left and right side edges (c), (c) of the chopping board body 2 are formed. Both end parts of these substantially U-shaped draining grooves 3 are opened so that draining may be performed to a front end edge (a) side of the chopping board body 2. Namely, the tip end part sides of side edge side groove parts 3c, 3c of the substantially U-shaped draining grooves 3 are formed in inward and oblique directions so as to be opened at a location close to a center side of the front end edge (a) of the chopping board body 2. At left and right side edge parts of the front end part of the chopping board body 2, locking parts 6, 6 for locking a refuse bag are formed.
