PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass product coated with an antireflection color film which has excellent antireflection performance for visible rays and which arbitrarily controls the color tone of transmitted light and which has high transmittance for visible rays, and to provide an optical filter for a PDP by using the product described above. SOLUTION: This glass product coated with an antireflection color film is produced by forming a high refractive index film on a transparent glass substrate having a refractive index of 1.47 to 1.53, and further forming a low refractive index film on the high refractive index film. The high refractive index film has a refractive index of 1.59 to 2.30 and a thickness of 80 to 140 nm, and contains 0 to 85 wt.% silicon oxide, 10 to 95 wt.% titanium oxide and 5 to 30 wt.% gold fine particles. The low refractive index film has a refractive index smaller by at least 0.20 than that of the high refractive index film, has a film thickness of 70 to 99 nm, and contains 90 to 100 wt.% silicon oxide.
