摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize torque transmission characteristics by changing the cut quantity of a member forming a magnetic passage and by adjusting the magnetic passage area in an operation mechanism. SOLUTION: An annular recess 16a is formed in a support member 16 constituting a pilot clutch mechanism 10d to be an adjustment means for setting the area of a magnetic passage formed in a cover body 11b to a prescribed value. The flux density in the cover body 11b becomes a set-range value and the attraction force of an electromagnet 13 to an armature 15 becomes a set- range value so that a friction engagement characteristic of a friction clutch becomes a set-range value. The annular recess 16a of a support member 16 for supporting the electromagnet 13 can be easily formed by an appropriate jig with a drive force transmission device assembled therein and adjust the dimension. This constitution dispenses with troublesome adjustment works and can easily set the torque transmission characteristics of the driving force transmission device to a desired value.</p>
