<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean a discharge electrode of an air cleaner under the optimum condition coping with the market environment where the cleaner is set. SOLUTION: A sensor 15 for measuring the dust concn. of the air to be cleaned is arranged on the input side of an air cleaner and a dust sensor 16 for measuring the dust concn. of the cleaned air on the output side. The difference between the measured values of both sensors is calculated in an arithmetic part, the difference is compared with a set value in a comparator part, and cleaning is performed by a cleaning mechanism 14 or a cleaning signal for notification is outputted from a cleaning signal output part when the difference exceeds the set value or not.</p> |
