PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp mechanism furnished with a brake ring which can prevent a fatigue failure, and has a durability. SOLUTION: The brake ring 6 of a clamp mechanism 1 is furnished with a flexible cylinder part 7; a ring form diaphragm 8 extending to the outer side in the radial direction continued to the end opening edge of the cylinder part 7; and a flange 9 for installing continued to the outer peripheral edge of the diaphragm 8. To the cylinder part 7, two streaks of annular projections 71 and 72 are formed. By forming the diaphragm 8 and the annular projections 71 and 72, the stress distribution when the cylinder part 7 is bent by the hydraulic pressure can be made in a gentle slope as the whole, and the maximum stress generation is also reduced. As a result, the fatigue failure of the brake ring can be prevented, and the durability is also improved.
