PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a method of uniting a group of coal particles at the outlet of a pulverizing part in the upper part of a throat and primary air to better comprehensive mill performance. SOLUTION: This roller mill is provided with a pulverizing part consisting of a pulverizing table 2 and a pulverizing roller 3 installed in the lower part of a housing 7 and a group of air introducing throats 4 arranged on the outer periphery of the pulverizing table 2, and it is set so that the velocity component in the peripheral direction of the pulverizing table 2 of air jetted from the air introducing throats 4 is reverse to the direction of the peripheral velocity at the outer peripheral end of the pulverizing table 2. In this case, on the outer peripheral part of the pulverizing table 2, plural partition members 200 are provided.
