PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a filter adapted to many type deep range hoods and easy to be attached and detached by providing a wide part having one or more dead folds formed at least at one side of a periphery of a frame so that a part of the wide part can be cut and removed to meet a size of an opening of a hood. SOLUTION: Wide parts 21, 22, 23 and 24 are provided at four sides of a periphery of a frame 20 of the filter 10, and a reinforcing part 25 is coupled between the parts 22 and 24. Sheet-like filter materials 30 using, for example, nonwoven fabrics are mounted in windows 26, 21. Groove-like dead folds X (X1 to X6) are provided parallel to end faces 211, 231 on front and rear surfaces of the parts 21 and 23 to form neckings 28. Neckings 29 are formed at front and rear surfaces of the parts 22 and 24 with one groove folds Y (Y1, Y2). The one or more of the folds are selected and simply folded and removed at the neckings 28, 29, thereby obtaining the filter of a desired size. |
