摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an abnormal pressure rise of a hot gas bypass heater circuit with insufficient followability without deteriorating efficiency, by wastefully discharging a working fluid raised to a high pressure without insufficiency of a heating capability by discharging the fluid in the heater circuit to a cooler circuit in an air conditioner having the heater. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a compressor 101, a cooler circuit, a heater circuit and a discharge capacity altering means. The compressor has a driving means, a suction unit 115 and a discharge unit 120. The altering means discharges the fluid from the discharge unit to the chamber 110 to reduce a discharge capacity. The cooler circuit has a condenser in a circuit from the discharge unit to the suction unit and a heat exchanger at its downstream. The heater circuit has a bypass passage from the discharge unit to a heat exchanger and the exchanger. The altering means has first means and second means for communicating or non-communicating a switching means 181 with the discharge unit and the chamber.</p>
