PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject method performing the re-covering of a filter membrane simply in low cost. SOLUTION: A filter membrane is cut off along a dead water region at the position inside a predetermined distance from a dead water region and the filter membrane of predetermined width containing the dead water region is left as an adhesive part 11 over the entire periphery along the peripheral edge part of a filter plate and the filter membrane 12 attached so as to newly cover the surface of the filter plate is disposed in contact with an adhesive part 11 in the peripheral part thereof and the old filter membrane and new filter membrane 12 of the adhesive part are bonded by an adhesive to seal the peripheral parts of both filter membranes over the entire peripheries thereof by an adhesive layer 14 solidified by the permeation into both filter membranes.
