PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve flexibility, sealing characteristics, slidability, and wear resistance, by molding a spiral with a compression molding material made of a single ethylene tetrafluoride resin or an ethylene tetrafluoride resin containing a bulking agent, or an extrusion molding material. SOLUTION: A helical blade type compressor mechanism 3, contained in a sealed case 2 and driven by driven force of an electric motor 4, comprises a cylindrical cylinder 5, a piston roller 6 at an eccentric position inside the cylinder 5, and a helical blade 8 which is fit into a helical slot 7 slidably formed in the periphery of the piston roller 6. The helical blade 8 is formed in a spiral shape with the blade made progressively narrower in the helical axis direction: it is manufactured by compression molding in a compression molding machine, either from a single ethylene tetrafluoride resin, or from an ethylene tetrafluoride resin containing a bulking agent. Preferable bulking agents include inorganic materials such as glass fiber, graphite fiber, whiskers, and granules.
