PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the growth of microbes, such as bacteria, in a water purifier and to kill microbes in carbonated water discharged out of a system via a pressure-reducing valve and supply chlorine-smell-free, safe, and pleasant carbonated water. SOLUTION: Tap water fed from a water conduit 2 via a water feed pipe 3 is fed, via a water feed valve 4, to a carbonator 5, high-pressure strong carbonated water is produced by the carbonator 5, and it is supplied to a water purifier 7 via piping 8A. Subsequently the high-pressure strong carbonated water in the purifier 7 is purified with its pressure maintained, is supplied to a pressure release valve 9 via piping 8B and a water feed valve 10, and is discharged out of the system from the pressure release valve 9 as carbonated water which is approximately equal to atmosphere pressure. Also, when the supply of the carbonated water out of the system is stopped for a long time, the water feed valve 4 and water feed valve 10 are closed. The water feed valve 4 and water feed valve 10 are re-opened to start immediately the supply of the carbonated water out of the system.
