PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can cutting device capable of further improving the efficiency of transportation of empty cans. SOLUTION: A can cutting device is provided with a guide part 2 for guiding a can C inputted in an input port 3a, a can receiving part 12 so arranged as to be separated from the lower end of the guide part 2 at the specified distance and for receiving the can C from the guide part 2, a rotary cutter 21 for cutting the can C into a strip shape, a can feeding mechanism 31 arranged between the guide part 2 and the can receiving part 12 and for feeding the can C received by the can receiving part 12 to the rotary cutter 21, and a driving mechanism 41 for driving the can feeding mechanism 31 and the rotary cutter 21. The can receiving part 12 drops the can C to a discharging port if the total weight of the can C is a specified value or more.
