PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ceiling flush type air conditioner having a heat insulating drain pan in which assembling workability is enhanced while reducing the vertical dimensions by employing a drain pan being split vertically while having opposite joints and forming the lower drain pan, a decoration panel, a guide member and a bell mouth integrally. SOLUTION: A bell mouth 2a is disposed between a fan 4 and an air inlet 2 and a guide member 2b having a streamline upper surface, is disposed between the lower section of a heat exchanger 6 and the fan in order to guide an air flow from the air inlet 2 substantially uniformly toward a heat exchanger 6. A drain pan disposed at the lower part of the heat exchanger 6 is split vertically while having opposite joints. The drain pan comprises upper and lower drain pans 7', 7 stacked while forming an air gap part (a) wherein the lower drain pan 7, a decoration panel 8, the guide member 2b and a bell mouth 2a are formed integrally. Since the drain pan can form an airtight air gap part (a), heat insulation performance is stabilized. |
