<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembly workability of a disc brake to the vehicle side by providing a pad spacer to ensure a gap in an axial direction between friction pads. SOLUTION: A caliper 5 is slidably supported at a mounting member 2 mounted on the non-rotation part of a vehicle, and a friction pad 8 is pressed against the two surface sides of a disc by the caliper 5. Further, after assembly of a disc brake, a pad spacer 21 is inserted in a space between back plates 10 through a space between the mounting member 2 and the caliper 5 and an axial gap is ensured between linings 9. When a disc brake is assembled on the vehicle side, a pad spacer 21 is radially externally pushed out by the disc inserted in a gap between linings 9.</p> |
