PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire coating resin composition which is a non- crosslinked, non-halogen material and excellent in processability, flexibility, heat resistance and oil resistance, and a wire using the same. SOLUTION: A wire coating resin composition comprises 100 pts.wt. polymer component composed of 50-90 pts.wt. polyolefin/rubber thermoplastic elastomer, 5-25 pts.wt. ethylene/carbonyl-containing vinyl compolymer, and not more than 25 pts.wt. (excluding zero) polyolefin having a crystallinity of not less than 55%; and 30-200 pts.wt. metal hydroxide having not been subjected to the surface treatment with stearic acid. |
