PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of strontium hydrogen fluoride, particularly high purity strontium hydrogen fluoride small in oxide impurities. SOLUTION: This method for producing strontium hydrogen fluoride has a process for mixing an aq. solution containing strontium or a solid material containing strontium with a hydrofluoric acid solution, a process for depositing strontium hydrogen fluoride hydrate by stirring in the hydrofluoric acid solution and a process for obtaining strontium hydrogen fluoride by dehydrating and drying the deposit.
