PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for easily and exactly judging the size of joint part of construction member having relatively random shape such as concrete outside-wall material. SOLUTION: A joint gap judging tool for judging the suitability of the gap 10a of joint formed in the connection part between construction members (for example, outside wall material) is provide with a gap judging part 2 judging the width of a gap 10a. To the gap judging part 2, a first width judging part 21, a second width judging part 22 and a third width judging part 23 are provided in succession from the tip end in turn. The first judging part 21 has the same width as the first width (y) 1 (for example, gap width tolerable lower limit width), the second width judging part 22 is constituted to continuously or by step reach from the first width (y) to the second width (y) 4 (for example, gap width tolerable upper limit width), larger than the first width (y) 1 and the third judging part 23 has the same width as the second width (y) 4.
