发明名称 RECIPROCAL MOTION CONTROL METHOD FOR PRINTER
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance throughput by altering a drive current at the time of acceleration or deceleration of a reciprocating motion means when a print means is operating in constant speed pattern so that a switching can be made to other speed pattern without stopping motion of the print means. SOLUTION: In a printer having a hammer bank 10 being shuttled by transmitting power from a linear motor 20 through a reversal mechanism section 30, shuttle operation is performed at a shuttle speed V0 in the first section of shuttle operation at the time of switching the speed pattern quickly during continuous print operation. Following to a moment when the direction of shuttle operation is reversed, the shuttle operation is accelerated to a maximum speed V1 of high speed print mode and then transition is made continuously to constant speed stroke, deceleration stroke and acceleration stroke. The shuttle operation is accelerated up to the speed V1 by prolonging the conduction time of a reversal coil and then the shuttle mechanism section is stopped temporarily by interrupting conduction of a constant speed coil for a specified time.
