PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace automatically without needing hands a main seal packing attached to the spear tube of a spear valve having a pop-out prevention mechanism. SOLUTION: A spear tube body 11 is supported by a seating part 12. Then, a press-down plate 16 is inserted by a washer hold part 17, the seating part 12 is moved in the axial direction of the spear tube body 11 with a washer 15 held, and a main seal packing 14 is separated from the washer 15. Subsequently, the main seal packing 14 separated from the washer 15 is removed by packing-removing means 18 and 19, etc. Therefore, the packing 14 attached to the spear tube body 11 can be detached automatically without through hand.
