PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band guide in which its opening and closing motion is stabilized, and concurrently adjustment of force required for removing the band is quite simple and a stable band handling can always be carried out by a method wherein a motion locus of a flap in the band guide is made simple. SOLUTION: There are provided a band way 13 fixed to an arch frame 12 so as to enclose a packed item; and a flap similarly supported by a spring at the arch frame 12 in such a way that it may be oscillated. The flap is comprised of a plurality of straight-line configuration members 30B and corner configuration members 30A. Each of the flap configuration members is pressed and supported by a conical coil spring S against a substantial middle supporting part of the stud 41 fixed to the arch frame 12.
