<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition cable connection device capable of more accurately preventing a coil spring interposed between a high voltage terminal and high voltage feeding terminal from falling off with simple constitution, and of keeping both the terminals under a more accurate connecting condition. SOLUTION: A locking projection 6 is formed at one end of the pin shaped terminal part 5 of a high voltage terminal 2 mounted to the end part of an ignition cable 1. A housing part 14 is formed in the terminal housing 11 of a high voltage feeding side terminal 10. A closed end cylindrical terminal 15 is formed in the housing hole part 12 of the base bottom side of the housing part 14 by means of insert molding. A sleeve type terminal 19 is housed in the inside of cylindrical terminal in a retaning condition. A coil spring 16 is held in a state of its one end pressed onto the base bottom end side of the housing hole part 12 by the end face at the one end side of the sleeve terminal 19. In addition, by engaging the locking projection 6 with the locking step part 20d of an expanding slot 20 formed at one side part of the sleeve terminal 19 in a state of the coil spring 16 compressed, the high voltage terminal 2 is connected with the high voltage feeding side terminal 10 in a retaining condition.</p> |
