<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet detector that can ensure a stable operation of its first and second members and prevent galls of sheets of paper and abrasion of the first member, and an image forming device that uses the paper sheet detector. SOLUTION: A first member 94, when moved under the pressure of a paper sheet S being delivered, causes a second member 96 to move in a linked fashion, which in turn urges a detection signal generation part 96A to generate a paper sheet detection signal. After the paper sheet S is passed over, a first urging means 95 and a second urging means 97 mounted on the first and second members 94 and 96 urge them in the opposite direction to that movement to return them to their original position.</p> |
