摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the flow rate of fluid passing through a curved fluid pipeline. SOLUTION: The inlet 8 of an intake pipe 7 is connected with the air exhaust port 6 of an air cleaner 1. The intake pipe 7 includes a curved part 9 at the downstream side of the inlet 8. A flow meter 10 is mounted to the intake pipe 7 in a space between the inlet 8 and the curved part 9. The inlet 8 of the intake pipe 7 includes an opening periphery 8a inclined with respect to a plane P1 perpendicularly intersected with the axial line L of the intake pipe 7. This inclination thereby allows the portion of the opening periphery 8a corresponding to the inner circumferential side of the curved part 9 to be projected to the direction of the axial line L of the intake pipe 7 rather than the portion of the opening periphery 8a corresponding to the outer circumferential side of the curved part 9. Therefore, an air flow is adjusted at the portion of the oblique inlet 8 to allow the air flow velocity to be almost uniform in a plane P2 including the measurement point of the flow meter 10, which is perpendicularly intersected with the axial line L of the intake pipe 7.</p>
